REGISTERED ANIMAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (RAHT or RVT) 30- 40 hrs/wk - Position has been Filled Oct. 2011

We are currently accepting applications for a graduate Registered Animal Health Technician or Registered Veterinary Technician. To qualify for this position you must:

Be a Graduate of an accredited AHT/VT program

Be Registered with the AHTA of BC or eligible & complete Registration within 4 months of employment

Have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a Veterinary Hospital within the last 5 years (but not necessarily as an AHT)

Preference will be given to candidates with experience, motivation, fantastic client service & communication skills and can demonstrate a history of teamwork and leadership and a presentation suitable for a professional medical office environment.

Wage depending on applicable experience & skills $16.50-$20/hr

VETERINARY HOSPITAL RECEPTIONIST 32-37.5 Hrs./wk (Postion has been filled as of Oct. 27th, 2011)

We are currently accepting applications for a Reception Team Member. To qualify for this position you must:

Have a minimum of 1 year experience in Retail Customer Service, experience and an aptitude for standard office software programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Veterinary hospital experience is not a requirement.

Preference will be given to candidates with Medical Office Training, Veterinary Reception Training, practical veterinary hospital experience, experience working in a fast paced client focused environment, and can demonstrate motivation, fantastic client service & communication skills and a history of teamwork and a presentation suitable for a professional medical office environment.

Wage depending on applicable experience & skills $13.50 - $17.00/hr

VETERINARY TECHNICAL ASSISTANT 32- 37.5 hrs/wk (Postion has been filled as of Nov. 4th, 2011)

We are currently accepting applications for a Technical Team Member. To qualify for this position you must:

Have a minimum of 1 year working experience in a Customer Service oriented business, an aptitude for standard office software programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook. The successful candidate must have an innate sense of organization, the ability to prioritize tasks with meticulous ability to multi-task efficiently. Previous Veterinary hospital experience is not a requirement.

This position involves assisting the Animal Health Technicians and Veterinarians, however, there is an emphasis on routine maintenance of the working areas of the hospital in addition to servicing equipment, maintaining laundry, sterilizing packs & wraps, patient care and routine cleanliness of the rooms & environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with medical office training, veterinary technical or reception training, practical veterinary hospital experience, motivation, fantastic client service & communication skills and can demonstrate a history of teamwork and a presentation suitable for a professional medical office environment.

Wage depending on applicable experience & skills $13.50 - $16.00/hr
